The Perfect Roast Chicken
Ina Garten's Perfect Roast Chicken is stuffed with a whole head of garlic, lemon, and thyme. Slather it in butter to get the perfect browned skin.
And to accompany it, Ruth Reichl's (former NY Times critic) mac and cheese with crumb topping.
The mac and cheese mis. Dijon mustard gave the cheese sauce a hint of zip.
